What's happening

The OSS embed script linked here knows how to encode a diagram into a URL hash fragment (#text=… for inline, #url=… for remote source). When free.nowline.io ships, this page redirects there with the same fragment so no embedded link breaks. You can read the full design in the OSS embed spec.
